Objectives and Results

The ECTP aims at delivering a number of outputs of major strategic importance for future research projects in Europe. This includes particularly the layout of the 7th research supporting programme. The most important tasks are:

• Development of a Vision 2030 for the European construction sector, which is supported by leading representatives of all major stakeholder groups ( download  -Vision 2030" vom ECTP-Server)
• Development of a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA), outlining how the Vision 2030 will be achieved including roadmaps ( download  -SRA" vom ECTP-Server)
• Promotion of industrial/commercial research with special consideration given to SME's
• Improvement of profitability of the public funded research
• Identify and address research barriers
• Contributions to the European Research Area (ERA),
• Integration of Member States by transfer of knowledge and technology
• Formulation of recommendations to the EU and national committees to create a sustainable growth
