Tasks and Objectives in Detail

On a national basis the GCTP aims at

• The compilation of a survey on the exploratory demand
• The coordination of national research and development
• Avoidence of identical research projects at the same time
• Overcoming the current fragmentation in research and development

On an international basis aims are formulated with a view to the ECTP:

• Compilation of a survey on the European demand for research in construction from a German perspective
• Legwork to the conjoint European Technology Initiatives (e. g. Energy Efficient Buildings E2B and REFINE)
• Transfer of knowledge and information between the ECTP, other national platforms and the GCTP
• Cooperation with other countries in bilateral and multilateral research programmes
